Ice-hockey
ALS is determined to the systematic and driven process of youth and kids education to understand the sport as a fixed part of life activities.
It is a challenge for the young people to have a chance to play ice-hockey in such a modern and top class facility. Practising, training, competing, playing, trying ice-hockey with qualified coaches could move the ice-hockey to the position of the optionally picked school sport activity included in the school programme.
Different age groups under leadership of experienced instructors specialized on kids that is a part of ALS standard sport activity programme. We do not forget on the sledge hockey players. They have dedicated hours at ALS too. Some other free hours are offered to the ice-hockey amateurs from the Prague 11 and other people as well.
Skating
ALS has an ice rink 26 x 56 metres. Changing rooms are connected to the rink as well as skate rentals, toilets, buffet and other rooms. The ice rink is designated for the youth mostly and preferably for the Elementary School Ke Kateřinkám which has skating classes as a part of the school timetable.
Hours for public skating open the ice rink to the Prague 11 people and also to the wider public. Skating classes, figure skating school, skating with fun for seniors, women and parents with kids – all these activities is easy to find in the ALS timetable.
All the reservations could be made electronically through the internet application. Wide range of refreshments and drinks is available for accompanying persons at the restaurant during the opening hours.
Curling
ALS is a winter sport facility which offers a unique opportunity to try the second winter Olympic team sport beside ice-hockey and it is curling. Young people interested in this winter Olympic sport can start the sport carrier through the Curling academy which is based at ALS. Practice sessions on a regular basis and special exchange programme for young curlers which include countries like Sweden, Scotland and Switzerland are the back bone of the ALS curling programme.
The long term school curling competitions for different age groups, curling for disabled, sessions for adult and senior players are the part of the ALS offer.
The special activity is a Company teambuilding sport activity event which is offered by ALS to the companies, firms, institutions and private people.
